One of my favourite pickles. Got some fresh turmeric from the vegetable vendor yesterday. Season has just started as winter is setting in. This is one of the simplest pickles made with turmeric (yellow and white), ginger, lemon juice and salt. Just chop all and add salt and lemon juice.
Benefits of turmeric and ginger are well known as they are loaded with antioxidants and have unbelievable healing properties due to presence of bio active compounds curcumin and gingerol. This pickle is full of fibre, heals the gut, boosts immunity and helps to detoxify your whole body.
